Do the powers that be send a directive to alter the algorithm to make them "worse"? If the did lock in they would be locked in by now. This is not some 500mb thing that we are waiting to drop in. It's a train of moisture from Hawaii, across Mexico, thru Texas, and curving east from Kentucky. I do not even see the utility in models right now, radar, baro and tracking the 850's will do it. I read the pbp thinking the storm was cancelled..then I took a look at the models myself. Even the GFS is adequate..NAM/RGEM look more than okay.
