wxsniss
That poster from Acushnet (Bristol Co) did well... This looks like one of the highest reports in Mass: Acushnet 3.5 1055 PM 3/03 general public Closest to Boston is West Roxbury 1.5", suspect we end up around that. Another 2" for the record? Will this season be like the Dan Marino of snowfall?

donsutherland1
Per NWS: Boston: 1.6" bringing the seasonal figure to 105.7".
ORH_wxman
So BOS needs exactly 2.0" to break the record. Still doable on Thursday. Though I'm still skeptical at the moment (see other thread)
wxmanmitch
2.5" of snow and sleet here. No freezing rain. Another meh event in what has been a winter full of such events around here. Temperature has shot up to 30° F after being at 20° F at 7 PM.
ORH_wxman
ORH is up to 115.6"...not nearly as close as BOS to the record, but within striking distance of the record which is 132.9" in 1995-1996. But 17.4" from here on out is certainly doable for them...esp since they are more prone to late season paste job. Still going to be a tall task though if we have to waste a week in the middle of March with no threats.
Professional Lurker
How does Tauntan, usually A place I piss on concerning snowfall competition, keep Beating me in this Winter?? Lol.both you and Taunton have me beat by 30". That simply does not happen! ...but it's all good. Hoping to catch up on late season threats. Cold Miser
I'm getting ALL KINDS of TV time with this!!!! I've got to ask, why would t.v. care about some random backyard snow record? Serious question but what is up with you and this anyway? You mentioned having press around for breaking the Boston record, etc. Why, how and who do you know in the press that would care about something so trivial outside of this forum? Are you a politician?
Cold Miser
3" total including sleet. Almost all of that is snow. Puts me over 93" for the year. Unless there is some large storm coming down the pike, I don't see 100" coming for me.
