sn0w
Radar shows precip just a few miles west of Middletown already...although I'm sure a decent amount is virga. Thinking maybe a bit earlier start time than currently forecasted (like usual)?

IsentropicLift
Wow, thump of snow incoming.... Hopefully it comes in hot and heavy. Rooting for a ground stop at LGA/JFK so that my fiances flight is canceled before she leaves the hotel. She's with family and they are staying through Friday night so getting the flight canceled wouldn't be a bad thing.

mob1
don't see that happening. Temperatures are above freezing and it won't be coming down that heavy in the city for anyhting more than delaysIt's below freezing at both airports and there's room to wetbulb when the precipitation arrives (LGA is at 29 and JFK at 30) but I agree that precipitation looks pretty meh and definitely not enough to cause delays. IsentropicLift
don't see that happening. Temperatures are above freezing and it won't be coming down that heavy in the city for anyhting more than delays Her flight doesn't come in until 10PM tonight, and that's if it leaves on time. Plane is en route to JFK and then still has to make return flight to Orlando first.

Could be icey at that time I want the snow to come in now so that the plane is not able to leave JFK. Then there will be no questions, canceled.
