Hurricane Agnes
OMG it took almost 2 hours to get home. The drives were both closed and anything along a river or creek was flooded. Had to go the old-school Broad Street route to get home. Stations around the area are reporting 2 - 2.5 ". In the middle of the last band coming through although so far it's not torrential - more plain old light - moderate showers for now.

Mercer county, I got about 1.04" since midnight. Not that much, but NE Philly to Trenton looks like the jackpot.

KamuSnow
Got up over 1 inch with that persistent back edge - total currently is 1.05", all of it between late last night and now, with only a 5 minute period of actual heavy rain. While I was hoping for more, at least most of what fell soaked into the ground rather than running off.
KamuSnow
Crazy persistent rain cluster over Philadelphia. EDIT: actually south of Philidelphia, but the rain is spreading towards the north and east. I was looking at that, and while I believe snow measurements for PHL are taken across the river at National Park, NJ, I don't know where rainfall measurements are taken. Same place? RedSky
To point out the sad discrepancies we have now with the NAM and GFS 12z update for my back yard for storm totals today NAM - 3.25" GFS - .35" NAM is already a fail GFS was woefully dry for the larger region. Based on all the high QPF maxes in eastern PA and Jersey NAM won the battle.
The Iceman
Looks like the heaviest rains will remain west of the area tomorrow. Nam and GFS only showing .25-.5" for the majority of the region. Then dry all next week.
