Was shooting the cumulonimbus way off in the distance because it was lighting up like a Christmas tree, and then this strike came out of nowhere. Nice shot! Been turning on the air just to lower the DP! Currently the line in Central NJ is just passing through . Some downpours and thunder. Looks as though it is getting stronger as it moves NEward. Ed. The flashes from some distance were lighting up my bedroom an hour before where the line is now on my doorstep. Light rain ahead of it but the heavier stuff may be coming.
