OceanStWx
Dew is 30..Little bit of room to wet bulb..and thinking elevation will help too Yeah, say you wet bulb to 35/32 I say you can still snow there. But starting at BDL's 41/30 is a little more problematic. Mount Tolland FTW!
Zeus
Someone should post the RGEM and edit in a little star that says "You Are Here" so I know where to look for my backyard.

Mount Tolland FTW! Maybe even at BDL after like an hour or 2 of cooling they will flip. HRRR has snow for almost the whole area by midnight..even to the water

RUNNAWAYICEBERG
I like rain to snow. Just gonna take a while for it to cover the ground but nightime certainly will help. I fully expect to be snowed in tomorrow morning.

JC-CT
Our tweet to them: SCW @SouthernCTWX 2h 2 hours ago @NWSBoston Riding the NAM on new map? Only guidance that really supports only 1-2" that far south. Their response: New 15z SREF snow probs support the 12z NAM & ARW. 70% of 4" Islands decreasing to 45% at PVD. Vry progressive & ptype issues ok box, maybe you will prove right

OceanStWx
18z RGEM....really nice, but still skeptical It's really hard to say models are trending too, when they oscillate between wet and dry over the course of 24 hours.

CoastalWx
That's really juicy. Still not sure we don't suck NW wind dry air disaster for awhile , but the trend since 6z has been a bit wetter. What a PITA storm.

SR Airglow
GFS north, HRRR keeps ticking north. I'm officially retracting my claim of the record not falling this winter. It's going down tomorrow. I was wrong, and it's never felt so good.

Ginx snewx
Ah but that is exactly what indicates we're not meteorologists. The NWS surely has some reason or rationale for preferring the camp they do... at least they usually do. I ain't know. Da fuq, I says! ORH_wxman
Care to elaborate? Classic Ginxy cryptic post. At any rate, I still have caution flags in both hands on this event. I am definitely encouraged by the latest model results, but we are still riding the tight rope. I could see BOS getting 4.5" or they could come in with like 0.7"....neither would honestly shock me right now. This is as much a nowcast storm as we've had this winter...even the mid-level magic storm on Feb 15th I felt more confidence in despite luke-warm model runs.
