NycStormChaser
People here are reading too much into the state of emergency. There is no driving ban. He didnt even say public offices will be closed. Declaring a state of emergency simply allows the state to receive more funding for snow removal. I work for the city of new york, if they declare a state of emergency it is basically unlimited overtime for a few days like during the "Blizzard". Hell, they even paid us to sleep on stand by. It is just a monetary thing.
IsentropicLift
All a state of emergency does is close state offices and tap into gov't funding. Also most schools close. It has no affect on driving bans ect.

Per usual, its skewed high because of the ARW members that always overdue total snowfall.

Oh no doubt the trend is good, but take the ARW members out and your left with a 5.19 mean. I probably should stop analyzing the SREF's now..
