Good that it's coming in somewhat colder, too. Sounds like the GFS doubled-down. Glad it's showing a generally consistent solution, and one that is pretty good. The surface temps on the gfs are nice, and the depiction of big rates on the flip is nice, but the run could easily have been better, and is in N MD than DC. That is expected but the warm layer is a known issue. In some areas, if not more than less, rates will be very heavy and could help overcome it.
