Yeah I drove from shaler south on 28 out of one cell and right into another one. I could see the pitch black sky with a lot of lightning strikes. I got home before the rain started but those clouds were pretty dark and even had a pinkish tinge to them.

THE TORNADO TOUCHED DOWN IN THE NEIGHBORHOOD NEAR CHAPARRAL DRIVE
AND TRACKED NORTH BEFORE LIFTING NEAR NORTH BOUNDARY ROAD. DAMAGE
CONSISTED OF ONLY UPROOTED TREES AND A FEW SNAPPED TREES. WINDS WERE
ESTIMATED TO BE BETWEEN 60MPH AND 70MPH.

I was literally 2 1/4 miles from there when it happened yesterday. Had everybody's smartphones not started blowing up with Tornado warnings, none of us would've had a clue anything was going on. No thunder, no lightning, no rain, not even any wind to speak of. Now, we were on the covered back porch, which was on the wrong side of the house to see anything, but even after the warnings, the only thing anybody had to comment on was that the sky was a little darker over that direction...
