KPITSnow
Have to wonder with the amount of rain we are getting over the entire area if river flooding becomes an issue later in the week. It isn't often that we get the entire area getting 2-4 inches of rain over a 24-48 hour time period, and not to mention this is going to continue over the next week. RitualOfTheTrout
I just completed one of the Skywarn trainings. It was pretty interesting, some information most of us probably know or are familiar with but if you get a chance I'd recommend attending one. If nothing else it gives you the opportunity to BS with someone form the NWS PBZ. I mentioned the weather forums and that we all love to read Fries discussions and he said he actually hears that a lot from people and especially the media. wstaude
Looks like there's a potentially tornadic cell just south of CAK, and the current track would bring it and neighboring storms into Allegheny county later on. Something to keep an eye on as the evening progresses.

north pgh
I just drove home from my daughters softball game in Cranberry and drove through what looked like some nasty hanging clouds. Now I am seeing reports of trees and wires down in parts of Franklin Park and McCandless. I was driving out ahead of it.
