blackngoldrules
Heavy rain. Extremely heavy depressing rain. Cutting the county in half once again.
CoraopolisWx
Flakes trying to mix back in, a thin slush on the sidewalks starting to form.
Rd9108
Cutting the county in half once again. I wasted so much time this year tracking these horrible storms. The next storm looks possibly promising but the detour sign is gonna put up a strong fight.
KPITSnow
I would say with compaction 6 inches or so in the north hills.

blackngoldrules
Heavy snow in bethel again radar looks likr Really? I'm just getting some drizzle right now and it looks to me like most of the heavier precip is gone. Just some light returns moving through. Rd9108
Well the UkMet has been pretty good. Maybe we can see something significant. I kind of want this to avoid us because I have a test and if class isn't cancelled I am screwed.
blackngoldrules
I'm in Farmington right now but radar looked like it was about to change to snow back in bethel...now moisture is breaking up?... Like Colonel said, it hasn't snowed here in hours. When that heavy batch of precip moved through, it was all rain here. Now, just some lighter precip moving through but still rain. colonel717
Its still snowing past that right? I would assume so since its beyond its range.
RitualOfTheTrout
Its still snowing past that right? Yeah, on the NAM it would snow for several frames after that. Honestly 18z NAM extrapolated would have probably nailed us. Wish it went out a bit further just to see for fun.
RitualOfTheTrout
My temp actually dropped back down to 34, but still getting rain. Best returns we've had today and it's just resulting in rain and now some fog in my area. That sucks. Happened to me during the storm last weekend. Drove .5 mile from my house and it was ripping snow. I lucked out on this one, I'm still getting some light snow now, with some pretty massive flakes at time so I'm probably sniffing the rain / snow line. That heavy band that went through probably put down another inch. Its really hard to tell though.

colonel717
Hate to be in this position 4 days out...Close to jackpot on most of the models ..
Burghblizz
The "dont want to be in the jackpot" is a myth. You are more likely to be *even* further away from the final solution if you start off away from the jackpot It just *seems* like it never works out because being in the absolute best spot of a big storm is rare. So you just remember the ones where things trended away from you. There are even more that are missed when its missing you to begin with
Stinkbugspecialist
It's nice to have it close 3 days out. Then trend into position like 2010.
CoraopolisWx
With some luck mabey we can cash in wed-thu, ala Columbus Oh March 2008. That storm also had a long moisture fetch.

RitualOfTheTrout
Getting a burst of moderate to even heavy snow in Greensburg right now! Winds are whipping around and it looks like a blizzard lol. I can tell they got a lot more rain down this way yesterday. Lots of bare spots of grass, well that is until this heavier snow started falling anyways.
