north pgh
Light steady snow here in the North Hills. Fine flakes. Driveway, side roads and sticking to everything. Looks good on the trees.] Probably about 1/2 inch or so. We will probably get half of what the South Hills gets but I'll take 4 if you can get 6-8. Polar Vortex 2014
This reminds me of that one storm last year where there was a dusting around Pittsburgh, but close to a foot around I-70 in southern Westmoreland. Does anybody recall that event?
RitualOfTheTrout
Similar Obs here. I am right on the fringe, I keep oscillating between 10bz then every once in awhile I make it into the 20-25dbz on radar. Some of the better returns in Ohio look like they might clip Southern Butler and Armstrong which would be good for me if they hold together. RitualOfTheTrout
This reminds me of that one storm last year where there was a dusting around Pittsburgh, but close to a foot around I-70 in southern Westmoreland. Does anybody recall that event? Yep, I recall it pretty well actually. Pitt-Greensburg closed and I had the day off, but up here I had barely 2 inches. I literally didn't even have to shovel the sidewalk. I remember driving into work after that and it seemed like literally 5 miles away had double the snow I had. It sucked, but at least I got a day off out of it. Maybe a repeat tomorrow?

CoraopolisWx
Southern KY getting dry slotted a bit, shows how tight a window the higher totals were gonna be. Also with the ENE flow, a stronger wave could've brought mixing into the area. It was a tough situation.
colonel717
At least my school Bobby Mo still has a shot to make the tourney. 2 wins away. Nice seeing the radar expand north and west with snow. Have about an inch so far. Need to get into some heavier bands.

Rd9108
Not these models matter at this point but the GFS About 1.5-2 hard to tell since it took a bit for it to accumulate on my driveway and street.

CoraopolisWx
Models did a good job showing the precip get squeezed down to a narrow band. It's too bad because the moisture was available, but the dynamics were lacking. After a mini jebwalk, I'm in for the night. Wanted to enjoy what could be the last decent snow of the season.
