JayPSU
Usual caveats apply to this map, but here's the 12z Euro clown: 12 euro cm.png Looks pretty similar to the 12z NAM.
Chicago WX
Looks pretty similar to the 12z NAM. Pretty close. Euro is a little more generous for parts of far southern IN and OH. 12z NAM:
Hoosier
If this pans out, the Kentucky weenies should be satisfied for a while.

eastkywx
Two wide spread snow events in one year is unheard of here in KY anymore. Here in eastern KY we wound up with right at 12 inches with the storm two weeks ago. Looking like a possibility of seeing something similar this time around. My concern here, though, is there looks to be a decent period of sleet showing up which would cut snow totals down quite a bit.
ukrocks
The NAM comes in north. It brings the low through Southwest Tennessee and then right over Nashville to NE Tennessee almost to the KY state line.

Jrad08
Lol I agree with buckeye on the long range NAM but nice weenie map for Cincinatti on that run at 12-18 range

ukrocks
NAM clown map gives me a foot of snow but I'd have to guess some of that is sleet.
buckeye
not sure what to think although I doubt the nam solution verifies . I will say this, if the nam were to pull a coupe, this is the kind of set up that it would do it with.
snowstormcanuck
NAM clown map gives me a foot of snow but I'd have to guess some of that is sleet. Good luck. That'd put you at what, 300% of normal on the season? Nice!
buckeye
Good luck. That'd put you at what, 300% of normal on the season? Nice! I've watched Kentucky get the shaft winter after winter. Storms always going north of them, and then when cold air finally does come in, everything gets suppressed and places like Alabama and Mississippi end up getting the snows. I say huge congrats to the bluegrass state.... well deserved and long awaited.
Chicago WX
0z RGEM at 48 hours not in agreement with the 0z NAM..or as far NW/amped. Sometimes it's a little too far northwest/amped at that range, though it was too far south until close in with the last storm (2/28-3/1). Different set-up of course. Jrad08
I don't think any congrats should be handed out just yet as even a 100 mile shift changes the whole game. Not saying I want a north shift and a foot of snow because I'm ready for spring but I certainly could see it in the cards

Chicago WX
Kinda surprised the 0z GFS didn't come a little further north, comparing/looking at its 500 heights and thermal fields to the 12z run. Different story for a different thread I guess, but this upgrade hasn't exactly impressed me much. At least you knew the old GFS was always going to be too far southeast/too cold until about 24/36 hours out.
ukrocks
Good luck. That'd put you at what, 300% of normal on the season? Nice! Thanks! Close, we average a foot per year, have 15 inches on the season right now, so we will see what happens.

TheWeatherPimp
A lot of that in Kentucky on the EURO would fall as sleet but still plenty of snow as well.
