Does it make me a bad parent that I let my kid stay up until 830??

nope. K use to go to bed at 9, but my husband fixed that right quick when he had to take care of her for a few nights while I was out of town for work. Has been 745-8pm ever since. Granted she is up before 6am during the week.

It is long past time to retire DST.  Of all the stupid, useless......

So now instead of being light when most people are getting out of bed; it is now dark, and when when many people are going to bed; it is now light.   Makes total sense...

who goes to bed at 730, other then teh children and things like tenman johnson

Yeah i imagine 830a sunrises suck but then at least I'd see few a year. Kind of a crock overall but it's like any other season.. Something to look forward to.

Sunrise in Indianapolis would be at 9:06, in Bismark 9;28.  I'm sure there are many other examples.  Those types of sunrises simply don't work........for anybody.

I lock mine under the stairs in the basement. It's so dark they can't see the monster that lives there.

i had to fire our monster under the stairs after it became too expensive.  It wanted medical benefits and a 401K

I haven't looked at any model runs since the hours leading up to the snowstorm last week and I feel mentally and physicall well rested.

I was getting headaches almost every other day since mid-Feb.. none since Thursday. Winter is bad for health.

What in the **** are you talking about?

I never understand his/her posts.

The vibe in here is slowly turning. Right after the storm many of us were hanging on to hopes that we'd get another snow (and I won't complain if it happens) but a weekend of nice weather has folks changing their tune and buying in for spring weather.
