Just made a completely healthy, energizing pre-workout shake with coconut milk, whey protein powder, 100% pure organic cacao powder, frozen banana, and bit of pure Vermont maple syrup to sweeten. So creamy and amazingly delicious.

sounds good.  i would have replaced the bananas with bananakins, no changes otherwise.

Am I the only one that got into the spring cleaning mood today? Wiping down baseboards, windows, etc. Even filled 6 kitchen bags of clothes for donation. Broke a sweat and opened the deck sliding door and it felt great.

First time a let my woodstove burn completely out in over a month. It did feel nice out. At this point in the season, I'm pretty much to let winter go. Snow that melts the same day doesn't interest me much. I'm ready for thunderstorms!

Money run to close the reg season. MD earned instant mega respect in their new conference (women and men's). Time to win the B10 tourney and get a 2 seed.

I think we have an outside chance at a 1 if we win the big 10 tourney and everything falls right

So glad we took both road games to close out the regular season. What an impressive record. They said tonight that MD never had this many regular season wins in the history of the program.

They looked great the past 7 games. I think if they win their first big 10 tourney game they will get a 2 seed unless they get blown out in the semis.

True, but post 7pm sunsets are better.

agreed, though I'm patiently waiting for the kiddo to ask why she has to go to bed when the sun is still awake (for when sunset gets closer to 8pm). not sure she realized last year what happened, but she is much more aware of when the "sun goes to sleep" now.

I tried hard to thoroughly explain to my kids on Saturday how this will work and how on Sunday IT WILL BE LIGHT OUT WHEN YOU GO UPSTAIRS.  Come Sunday night at 7pm, my son was all "why are we going up?!  It's still light out!!".

yeah, I'm waiting. Her bedtime is sometime after 730, ideally 745ish. So i know when we get into the heart of summer and the sun is still up, she is going to put up a fight.

Been tried........in the 70's.............didn't work.

Yeah i imagine 830a sunrises suck but then at least I'd see few a year. Kind of a crock overall but it's like any other season.. Something to look forward to.
