To be safe, shouldn't you wait until flakes are flying and six inches is already on the ground?

these days there's no rush to being in unless you're in at d7 because everyone else has it locked down/in/up and stuff.

not really important, but some context.  i have life long health problems and cancer.  i'm not looking for sympathy.

unfortunately need to take meds, and for anybody in a similar situation you can relate to what is sometimes a struggle.  no, i don't doctor shop and i'm not addicted to anything (matt, the correct term is opioids, not opiates...it just shows your ignorance on a topic you don't understand).  i've tried my best to minimize intake and have refused offers from my docs of stronger meds.  i'm also my own advocate, which includes exploring alternative medications, primarily natural, plant based options.

matt, apologies if you are offended.  i do think you fit the classic diagnosis criteria for bi-polar, and you may want to reflect.  you are a great asset to the board in terms of your technical knowledge and local climo awareness, but you are a perpetual grump, frequent cyber bully, and often mean and nasty to newcomers or noob posters.  and you whine a lot.  it's annoying.

i hope you and all of my other "targets" get lots of snow, sleet, or whatever you want out of this event and can end winter on a happy note.

i'm looking forward to spring, summer, and nat's baseball.  but i live on the knife's edge of life.  not sure if this is my last winter.

Take care of yourself man.  You're actually pretty funny and I laugh at a lot of your posts.  The psychoanalyzing/diagnosing is extremely arrogant, especially since it is done under the guise of trying to "help" me or cause me to "reflect", when it couldn't be more insincere.  The only point is to get under my skin.   I think the pathology behind people who, without direct provocation, feel this compulsion to cut me down to size, is a lot more interesting, than the cyberbully.  Should I start talking about their upbringing, relationship with their parents, abuse history, whether they could benefit from an SSRI or cognitive-behavioral therapy?  Armchair diagnoses over the internet are really lame, and really passe to be honest.

hope your death is painless and much delayed. unless, in the end, you're ****ting yourself and can't troll the board and whatnot...nobody likes to clean up after that mess and it doesn't sound like much fun for you, either.

peace bro

Lol... Thanks, I think. I'll take things into my own hands b4 it gets to that point.

Combo of SSRI and CBT is actually most effective, if you get to that point of accepting your situation.

Good luck with the sleet/snow bomb. Move somewhere with a better snow climo and you'll be a happy dude, more of the time.

Actually for Bi-polar (1 or 2) or any major mood disorder, an SSRI would never be a 1st line treatment.  A mood stabilizer would, and/or an atypical anti-psychotic.  For someone so confident in an internet diagnosis, you're ignorant when it comes to how to address it.
