No snow for you Posted March 30, 2015 Share Posted March 30, 2015 Agreed! Much needed, solid rain ! Still cool out and rain has passed. 48 currently! My beds were pretty moist yesterday prior to the rain and I have not watered in weeks. Maybe mine is just retaining water longer. Temp rose up to 58 by 11 am only to drop to 50 with the light rain that came thru around noon. When the sun came back out the temp rose to a high of 63. Currently it is 59, dew point of 48. Jet Stream Rider Posted March 31, 2015 Share Posted March 31, 2015 I just wanted to report that last Saturday 3/28, I observed snow falling and even accumulating a bit in the favored spots. I was on Lake Gaston, NC side near Littleton. Woke up Saturday morning and it was snowing before dawn and continued until almost noon. It was snow squalls, as the coldest air pushed in. downeastnc Posted April 2, 2015 Share Posted April 2, 2015 Oops on the frost advisory currently 45 and dawn is only a few hrs away......would need a big drop the last hr or so to even get close to frost....SE wind all night kept temps up they were calling for 34 so they missed it by 10 degrees less than 12 hrs out.
