Cold Rain
Whom or who? That is tricky Meh. I don't know the best way to describe that one. When preceded by a preposition, use whom, as in "to whom does the GFS give snow? I don't know the specific rule there. I usually try to avoid situations where it's questionable. Cold Rain
How's that 36 degree drizzle treating ya this evening, CR? Doing wonders for my mildew garden!
YetAnotherRDUGuy
Oh for chrissakes. RDU getting light drizzle but Chapel Hill 10-15 min away reporting light rain? They always overperform while we get dryslotted. What a terrible winter this has been!
Jonathan
You ready for your 3-6" on Thursday? HA! I'll be lucky to get some token slush on the tail end of this one. I've seen how this movie goes. The mountains will block the cold air while E NC/VA gets the ol' backdoor job. It had to happen at some point. The lee side shadow hasn't hindered me a bit up to this point. We'll see what happens! Brick Tamland
Why is it so dead when we have one last chance for some sleet? It looks like it will be more of a nuisance than anything, especially after getting in the 70s today. I am ready for more weather like that. CherokeeGA
If the precip is a tiny bit higher than forecast (common) and the cold rolls in here earlier and stronger than forecast tomorrow (common), we have the makings for another mess of a commute tomorrow afternoon. Freezing rain on the roads here turns into black ice up here so fast.
Solak
Wasn't it supposed to be like 95 or 65 or something by now? We're still struggling in the mid 50's and it's 74 in the mountains!

LOL...I am so glad this isn't mid-January and we aren't talking about snow. It has moved south, just not far enough for us to see anything but a stray sleet pellet and some cold rain.
