SnowGoose69
nam still changes the city over to sleet by hr 27 The RGEM has been trending warmer each run around 03z in the mid levels, I think most precip will have fallen though by the time NYC changes over

WintersGrasp
00z nam I'm pretty sure sleet would cut down on those snowfall amounts, though 2-3 maybe 4 still is possible in the city.....but the best accumulations definitely further north
Zelocita Weather
If your north of rt.78 outside of Long Island 80%+ seems to be snow on the nam. 4-6" for metro n/w...

Animal
00z nam how is this calculated. My area using the offical NCEP site clearly shows 5-7 inches of snow with my new favorite model the NAM. your map with the fancy graphics indicates a little less. WintersGrasp
I believe it is taking into account the sleet/precip profiles.Unfortunately, those maps never do. It groups it all together as snow accumulation, though those amounts aren't bad at all
ThatGirlWhoSkis
3"-6" snow for Bedford Hills tomorrow into tomorrow night. Thanks man. NorthShoreWx
0Z NAM is still very close to100% snow along the north shore. If the GFS has this again, I am going to start to believe it.

UlsterCountySnowZ
Here's the precip output verbatim, no snow map, ratios or algorithms, just the model.. Seems in line with the snow map at 10:1 ratios to me

The 4 Seasons
Weatherbug is pretty bullish lol.. Says 5-9" for me lmao ? Not sure how, weatherbug uses NWS Zone forecasts for the first 7 days then days 8-10 it uses its own profile scheme. Here's my wxbug forecast: "Snow. Total snow accumulation of 4 to 8 inches. Lows in the mid 20s. South winds around 5 mph...Becoming west around 5 mph after midnight. Chance of snow near 100 percent." Same as NWS
Animal
is there a problem? You sound a little too upset at ME for posting a map I didn't make lol... Maybe you should post your better maps for all to see and we will compre how they're vastily different and my wxbell output is a falsity not at all. your maps are typically wrong with reality. just sayin. again, i only have acess to the ncep site. your maps fluff everything up and wxbell has an agenda. The 4 Seasons
Here's how meteocentre breaks it down. Looks like mostly snow and some freezing rain. This would indicate 8-10" of snow verbatim for southern CT, which is actually more than wxbell snow maps show.
SnowGoose69
The 00z RGEM continues to tick warmer in the 03z period but still away from the south shore of LI it's mostly snow
