lakeeffectkid383
More than 2 inches where I was in Nantucket today. I'd say between 3-4" roads where terrible. Truck got stuck. Awesome little storm.

N. OF PIKE
I measured on the fly where I could, but it was not 1.3 here. You could maybe argue .8 or so. Somewhere must have a (don't take this the wrong way) weenie ruler for the key chain. Your on the run and need a quick measurement . Something you can put on your key chain, that can retract and measure a nice event. I got a cool thermometer for the key chain at some weather shop in N conway , but couldn't find a ruler for the weenie on the go

ORH_wxman
what about ACKs 4 ,or did they secede They probably could have had one but my original prognosis of no headlines was actually outside the cape and islands. I only saw a 3" report for ACK though. So you are talking the bare minimum for headlines in the furthest southeast point of the CWA.
CoastalWx
Headlines are dumb. I mean people can see it's fooking snowing. I don't need the weather service to tell me to slow down.

Lol.I've always felt we need fewer headlines. Not more. More of them tends to numb the public to them.

Clinch Leatherwood
We ended up with 2.6 here enough that they are once again forced to plow. The NWS employee was a little south of the best action and away from the OES at the end Sharp dropoff north of exit 2 on route 3. By exit 7 I don't think it was more than an inch. Wow, of course you both realize more accidents happen in the first inch of snow rather than the next 6, travelers advisories should be noted whenever slippery conditions are expected. Of course when one was told enjoy the virga one would not expect to be driving down the highway and all of a sudden be in S+ today
