Guest ovweather
Another day of heavy rain in the lower OV. Many areas already at an inch+ for this event with an afternoon of rain still to come. Soggy, soggy, soggy...

It was so bright the last few days when you would walk inside your eyes need adjusting. Now, soups on lol

hawkeye_wx
The morning fog likely knocked our high down several degrees, but it has surged to 50 here in the city(46 at the airport where fog held on longer) so we should hit the mid 50s. The temp in sunny central and western Iowa has soared into the 60s already.

hawkeye_wx
The visible loop shows the low clouds/fog clinging to the remaining snowpack from far east-central Iowa through northern Illinois. We've jumped to the upper 50s in the city. Central Iowa is well into the 60s and sw Iowa has hit 70.
daddylonglegs
I had 63F in the van when i got home about half hour ago... It actually warmed as i came back north. Park was very busy. Brewers
Per MXP Twitter we have hit 66 at MSP. Ties the record from 2012. The 12z sounding this morning did have a max temp of 67 degrees but I thought we'd fall just short

weatherbo
54 windy and sunny. I can start to barely see the tip of my meter stick in the yard, so I'd say snow depth down to 39/40". A loss of about 5-6" the past two days. western up topped 60 in spots.

cyclone77
Pesky area of low clouds and fog COC blocked our shot at 60 today. Clouds and fog didn't clear here till almost afternoon. Still managed 52. Just to the northeast at Sterling they're still stuck in the upper 30s. MLI has topped 60 though. If they wouldn't have had the unforecast fog temps would have probably made the mid 60s.
