hawkeye_wx
Hit 67 Yep, another gorgeous day, overperformed a bit again. Tomorrow we should climb to the mid to upper 70s ahead of the front. Hopefully, some decent rain will hold together and soak the area tomorrow night.

hawkeye_wx
This is the first March in 18 years in which Des Moines recorded no measurable snowfall.
stormtrackertf
I'm up in Auburn Hills for the Pistons game tonight and some of the snow survived the afternoon sunshine. Pretty impressive.

blue60007
Great week to get the first few bike rides of the season in. Little windy, but I had been itching to get out.
Geos
Stayed in the 40s all day here, high of 48°. Wind off the lake helped act to stabilize the atmosphere and clear out the clouds nicely.
ukrocks
Perfect day today - 73 degrees - and not a cloud in the sky. Tomorrow may be a few degrees cooler but it should still be nice.
cyclone77
Good riddance to March '15. Other than the near 80 degree day the month was boring as hell weatherwise. Not all that much better than Dec '14. Hope April brings some much needed action.

WestCoaster
Warmest temperature I've had for 2015 was a measly 52 F... forecast is calling for 57 tomorrow, hopefully. Of course, both warm temps will/were greeted with clouds & rain, but I'll take it...

michsnowfreak
March at Detroit finished with just 0.80" of precip and 2.8" of snow. Snowcover was above normal and temps finished at 2.7 degrees below normal. It was the 15th coldest Nov-Mar period on record, impressive considering the mild December, and also considering last winter featured the 4th coldest Nov-Mar on record. It was the 8th coldest Jan-Mar on record (last year was 3rd coldest). Another unique stat...it tied for the 3rd driest Jan-Mar on record. Only 3.60" fell from Jan-Mar when the normal is 6.26", yet snowfall for Jan-Mar, 43.4", was nearly 14" above the normal of 29.8"! 19 of the past 26 months have been colder than normal Feb 2013: -0.9 Mar 2013: -2.6 Apr 2013: -2.8 May 2013: +3.9 Jun 2013: +0.2 Jul 2013: +0.4 Aug 2013: -0.1 Sep 2013: -0.3 Oct 2013: +0.9 Nov 2013: -4.0 Dec 2013: -3.3 Jan 2014: -9.2 Feb 2014: -8.7 Mar 2014: -8.5 Apr 2014: -0.3 May 2014: +1.7 Jun 2014: +1.1 Jul 2014: -3.7 Aug 2014: -0.5 Sep 2014: -0.9 Oct 2014: -0.3 Nov 2014: -5.7 Dec 2014: +3.5 Jan 2015: -4.4 Feb 2015:-14.0 Mar 2015: -2.
hawkeye_wx
March averaged pretty normal over here as we had a mix of cold and warmth. Otherwise, it was very boring with only 0.89" of precip and 0.8" of snow.
