Hoosier
Overall wind potential on Wednesday not looking as impressive now as models have gotten weaker with the surface low and resultant wind field.

Natester
Talk about a surprise ice storm this morning! Widespread ice accumulation of .25 inches. Much of the ice fell in a span of 70 minutes! Of course, I was asleep at the time.
cyclone77
This time last week it was 78 with full sun. Same time this week it's 32 with a little snow still on the ground. 46 degree difference. EDIT: Last Monday Cedar Rapids hit 82. It's currently 33 with 23 wind chill lol.
Chitown Storm
Forecasted temp bust today. Had 38 in the point but only got to 32. Snow melted on the concrete, but not much else. Impressed with how little snow has melted considering we had temps in the 60s and 70s recently. Now another 1-3" tomorrow night.
IWXwx
Quite the difference between here and the Ohio River. 28° and 4.5" of snow here, while it's 63° at SDF and EVV and 70° at PAH.

IWXwx
I just realized that 2 out of my top 3 snows this season occurred in March ( 4.1" 3/1 and 4.4" 3/23). They were topped only by the New Year's storm that dumped 6.7". A chilly 18° out there. They dropped my point by about 8° today, probably due to unexpected snowcover. Chitown Storm
Looks like the 2 incoming lows won't phase after all, leading to the warmer air staying south and less precip here. But what does fall should be a mix or snow. Perfect...

Geos
Pretty scenes Kevlon! I noticed some vegetation that had hoar frost on them as well. Temperature rose up to 29°, but it now it just stuck there for the last 3+ hours. With east winds continuing that will keep it chilly today. tuanis
Impressive staying power to this wet snow on the ground. Very little melting going on despite filtered to full late March sun. Great shots Kevlon! Love the second one.

Chitown Storm
12km and 4km NAM both inching the heavier precip toward the TC. Precip shield on radar looks more organized than expected...also more north. Temps going to play a role overnight. Currently at 37 so we'll see if we cool fast enough once the precip starts. cyclone77
What was left of yesterday's snow/sleet is completely gone now. Only got up to 35, but that was enough. Had a few cold sprinkles earlier. Bleh.
weatherbo
still around 22-28" of snow on average left. It's a bullet proof snow pack too, and melts very little each day. Looking like a decent round of snow (8-12")coming the next couple of days. Winter not letting go just yet!
