sparklecity
100% rain now. Unbelievable. Guess it's time to wash the snow away.
packbacker
I've still got some snow here. But that mix zone is a football field away and closing rapidly. Will be switching momentarily. Looks like it's oriented west-east and moving northward. Doubt it gets shoved east like last time. Currently have about an inch of snow and sleet. It won't head east until the low pressure forms and starts moving NE, which it will. I hope we only flip to sleet and not rain, then we flip back a little earlier. Winterhawk
I missed the finger earlier, maybe I can catch a wraparound ? A large portion of GA got the middle finger, that's why you missed it.
metalicwx366
Wow I'm pissed off right now. Training severe thunderstorms to my south. We suck here.
Zorian
Wow... still sitting here in hopes of a "last gasp snowburst". This storm is exactly same as the last. .6" of sleet. I wanna french kiss my great, great Grandma now.
metalicwx366
All the models suck except for the HRRRRR. Its supposed to be 70 degrees now and we are still in the 40s. That why we are missing all those storms.
Shawn
100% rain now. Unbelievable. Guess it's time to wash the snow away. These computer models need to be evaluated after this fiasco. Especially in these Northern areas.
weatherheels
Now just who the heck do I need to speak with to get some of those yellow/orange returns centered over my house around here? PM me if you know.
sparklecity
These computer models need to be evaluated after this fiasco. Especially in these Northern areas. I guess I had good reason to worry about the northern upstate last night. I can't believe just when the radar starts too look better our temp rises and turns to rain. Winterhawk
Anybody got those plumes for ATL, PDK, or GVL? They looking better yet?
Shawn
It's crazy how so many people are/were holding onto every shred of hope. It looks like a town in AL ended up with 12"+. ATL got the shaft, Northern Midlands & Upstate too.. you'd think it would be a lot more worrying with all of that going on for other areas possibly... considering the warm meant business.. skbl17
Looks like there will be a changeover to light snow here soon. On the other hand, it's too late for accumulations! Yay....

Artie Fufkin
And now the final insult: turning back to snow after eight hours of 33 degree rain, just in time for the system to exit. Atlanta winters...I hate you...

NorthernUpstateSC
We have gotten a little over 3 inches this way so far, a far cry from the 8 inches a lot of the models were saying earlier. There was no mention of all the sleet that kept mixing in with the snow tonight. Seems a very shallow layer of warm air developed again over the upstate that was missed by the models. Nasty ice and sleet storm last week, a dusting of snow over the weekend, 2.5 inches of snow yesterday and just over 3 today. I guess I shouldn't complain too much but, the 8 inches or so that was forecast for tonight would have been nice!

Snowless in Carrollton
I saw tons of rain, a few pellets of sleet, and no snowflakes. Total snow and sleet for the season = a trace. 3 out of 4 winters now with no accumulating snow or sleet

sparklecity
All rain still. Annual upstate screw job strikes again. How the hell did it ever snow a foot here? I don't think I'll ever see that again.
