JQPublic
Funny to see the pages increase on the whining thread as more and more folks unexpectedly change over to rain. Wish you would step back from that ledge my friend.

goldman75
Myrtle beach, sc 35 degrees and rain for days. I always laugh when folks in the mountains of NC whine about no snow. It's just a matter of time for them. Move out here, the struggle is real.

superjames1992
Brick has snow before I do. SMH. I'm going to venture out and yell at the clouds in a minute. It's coming down decently here now. Light snow, but it's something. Looks like we got NAM'd again for good measure, too.

sparklecity
I don't think it's possible to get high accumulations any more. Haven't seen higher than 7" or 8" since 1988.

PackGrad05
I was getting absolutely bashed in the other thread earlier for saying I thought southern wake would get mainly rain with little snow... I'm telling you... Experience in this area goes a long way.

jshetley
All the models are useless this year it seems. Maybe go back to the models we used in the 1980's. They could not be any worse than what we have now.
Regan
Wral just said oops, rain snow line is more south. Once the transitioning is over, it likely will stay pretty much all snow in Wake. That it'll get heavy later on tonight. Oops it started early with little to no trans. Things are cooling well. Loose paraphrasing.

flowerybranchweather
Everything seemed to be going good earlier today, with heavy snow falling and then it changed to all rain. Now we're fixing to get dry slotted... sigh...... well if this isn't a really big slap in the face.
superjames1992
How does the track compare to the last run, James? The track is about the same, but it's a hair stronger. It exits around SAV and is 996 mb just off of ILM at hr 9, then 991 mb at hr 12. It actually ends up a little closer to Hatteras than the 18z run.
