Guaranteed that one school system decides to open on time and things get bad.

Doubtful. My wife's firm in Tysons just sent out a weather advisory to be prepared to work from home tomorrow. School systems will follow suit, but then that's not inferring that I'm Nostradamus.

My office also just sent out a notice to be prepared to work from home tomorrow.

If DC gets an inch before 4am with snow continuing to fall, we are good for at least a delay and telework options

I am not going to get 1.2 inch per hour rates, not even for one hour. Especially not when I get a couple of inches for the entire storm. IF I get a couple inches for the entire storm. I might see light snow/pixie dust for several hours that MIGHT accumulate to a couple of inches lol. That's an easy decision. Couple hour delay. We can deal with it. The storm is in NORTH CAROLINA, thats 250-300 miles south of DC.
