Dunkman
Tiny micro-flakes falling in Oak Ridge, 37 deg. This may be one where i wish i am 10 miles south . I've already wished I was a few miles north 3 times in the last 10 days. I hope it doesn't happen again tonight.
magpiemaniac
Nothing here yet. I have two floodlights shining so I would see even a fake or two. Nothing flying here yet either with a toasty 39 degrees. I'm afraid to turn on my outside floodlights for fear of obliterating a snowflake. broken024
Is the snow line supposed to push south of Charlotte as night goes on?

Zorian
Feels like a rain/snow/sleet/graupel mix in south end Charlotte now. Ugh. Theme of this storm all day. I haven't heard much outside that box. Maybe NE NC, along the Va. line cashes in? Downstream... it's not looking as convective as we thought. Disc
Pack backer and I were debating this earlier today. There was a warm nose on the 850 outlook on the 12z nam. Guess it may hold to be true. I'm sure evaporational cooling and dynamics will be ftw Seems to be slowly advancing north at this time. Big area of 50dbz returns over Southern Pines and it's probably a crap ton of sleet. Hopefully we'll see this line sag back south later on.

Yup, Locust is getting rain now and that's 10 miles west of albemarle. Line is moving north fast. If your wetbulb is not below 32, i would be worried. Mine is at 32.5 so im screwed too.
