Thrasher Fan
Heavy sleet in dunwoody now. Very loud. Does this mean a change back to snow maybe close? Not necessarily. Just a heavier batch passing over. The rain/snow line is north of the fat green line.
Zorian
Indicative of more sleet than snow Why is that? Heating from this morn? Energy looks to be transferring East. We've had less than .1" of precip.

CarlHill
Good luck Charlotte. Most of the folks I work with live there and things are still still looking good for them at the moment. This is a major BUST here in Pickens County. I'm not going to stress over it so I'm out before I drive myself nuts. Let's all say a prayer for next year as usual. scottbee
That's crazy because where I am it's 31.5. I would think we would at least be looking at freezing rain with our temps. The "transition line" moved more north. Right at the Gainesville line.
rduwx
Well, it was supposed to start as rain and that didn't happen. Yep....We'll have to see how it plays out. I do believe your location is better than pack, cold rain and myself.

Jalba
is that radarscope? looks like it - i checked the CC1 on the app and it appears that there is a band of sleet running across n ga in to the upstate. put it in motion and you can sort of see it move and shift (i assume this is the snow/sleet line). outside imby its kind of interesting...going between snow and sleet. wild storm so far. edited to add: it doesnt appear to be racing to the north, at least lol Its a screenshot from Grlevel3 V2. Love radarscope too though, both are great.
jshetley
If all this sleet/rain doesn't change over to snow soon were gonna have a huge bust in the Golden Strip area. It's looking like anyone south of a Walhalla, Greenville, to Gaffney line may be out of this. I'm hoping it stays above freezing so all this rain doesnt freeze.
