honeygrl
Athens, Ga getting a mix of sleet, rain, and snow. Seems to be mostly sleet and sometimes has a good bit of snow mixed in. The grass is starting to lightly accumulate the sleet but most of it is melting still. Hopefully the temp will fall more soon.

CherokeeGA
I don't often watch local television, but live coverage of storm events is always a blast. 11alive, the local NBC affiliate, has a truck and a reporter trailing a snow plow around Cherokee County. Fun to watch. ETA: For you out of staters who want to see something better than grainy GDOT cameras, 11alive is streaming online today and they have reporters in some of the North Georgia counties getting quite a bit of snow today. http://www.11alive.com/videos/news/2014/05/30/5867887/

SN_Lover
Wetbulbs better start coming down. Gonna drastically reduce snow rates if it does not. Battle line seems set from LIncolnton to Mooresville to Winston salem for higher ratios.

Nice sized flakes have just restarted in this part of Dunwoody. 34 F. Heavy to our west apparently coming our way. Should start sticking better and better. newshinycd
THIS IS INCREDIBLE I felt like giving up about an hour ago. Its really coming down now and its finally sticking! Combined with the mesoscale discussion that NWS put out for NW GA, I wonder how much we'll end up getting? Which part of Kennesaw are you located? I'm near Kennesaw Mountain.
