With heavier bursts, we get the snow clumps, but until I get under a sustained heavy burst, I'm afraid I'm looking at off/on sleet & snow. After starting as snow and tapering off, getting light drizzle now. Seems to come back under better returns. Probably the case for most of the Upstate once that initial band comes through. jrips27 Posted February 25, 2015 Share Posted February 25, 2015 That band that started about 4:30 here was incredible. Heaviest snow I've ever seen. The flakes were almost tennis ball sized and I'm sure others nearby can back that statement up. Just went out and measure and we are right at 1.5". Light rain mixed with sleet currently with a temp of 32.6 We've got to get some heavier returns in here and take that snow line back south.
