Whitelakeroy
I don't think will get above 32 sitting at 1.3" so far but these reports to the SW of IP is discouraging. I am getting enormous snowflakes but there is just now some IP mixed in. You could tell instantly with IP mixed in as my visibility was 1/4 mile then suddenly rose to about 1 mile. Whitelakeroy
KYIP is reporting sleet. So yeah, the end is definitely near. Might pick up about 2-3" before then though. Icing threat really looks ominous now given the radar and temps still in the low/mid 20@. I hope to remain sleet over Ice (right now I am silver dollar sized flakes with some IP mixed in). I already had one ice storm and don't want another especially with it windy out.

snowstormcanuck
Moderate snow started about 45 minutes ago. Solid coating down.
hawkeye_wx
0.32" of precip here, which is more than expected, but only 0.8 inches of heavy, crusty snow/sleet. Freezing drizzle has coated everything.

dmc76
Just lost the battle a minute ago ... 80% IP now. To be expected but I thought we would hang to pure snowfall for a little longer then this. No pingers here yet but what you get is what I get 30-45 mins later...

Geos
Per CC looks to be mostly sleet in that band...Anyways, 3-4.5" reports over Kenosha and Racine counties this morning. I can definitely verify that! Cold air was a bit deeper up this way, didn't switch to sleet until after 8am. Roads are a nightmare, but at least the freezing rain was kept to a minimum. About 2.8" fell at home.
michsnowfreak
Per my mom, 1.8" down in Wyandotte and now "ticking" outside, was pure snow 15 mins ago she said. Depth 13-14"

geddyweather
Large band of ZR heading this way. Id say .04-.06" of freezing rain so far, accumulating well on smooth surfaces and roads. May get close to a tenth of an inch of ice out of this. Also got a dusting of sleet from earlier this morning.
michsnowfreak
Ticking? Something akin to "pinging" I guess? her words lol. That means sleet Im guessing lol. She didnt say rain, tho I see DTW has switched from snow to zr. Whitelakeroy
Heavy Parachutes has some IP mixed here now. I say 80/20 Looks like you were able to avoid the 10-15 minute period I went to mostly IP ... it was between the yellow bands on radar ... still 70/30 here. snowstormcanuck
Looks like the mid level warm layer will advect as far north as Toronto per latest RAP data. Hoping the brunt of the precip will be done before we have to worry about heavy PL contamination.

Unless I'm going to get 4-6"+ of sleet (which I've seen...it's pretty damn impressive). low end +SN here in London. (looks like 2" or so down).
