Hoth
That is what is killing it on the periphery. CJ without the oes. Yeah, was worried about that. Maybe it will wash out, but who knows...

40/70 Benchmark
that stuff down near Franklin mass looks like it's making some northward progress. I expect that to get choked off, too once it gets to this area....too close to the coastal band. Even if it doesn't,,,once the edge waffles again, curtains. Down near Groton it is already eroding. Morch Madness
Weymouth/Hull/Cohasset are about to get croaked. I could see 6 or 7" for someone in that area.

Hoth
Hoo-wee! I am straddling the edge of this right now. Looks like another crush job just south of town. Weymouth is a magnet.
wxsniss
Too tired and no one mentioned this... shots for Logan crossing 100 were probably in order in the past 30 minutes... Yeah Narragansett Bay to South Shore... roughly New Bedford to Providence to Quincy to Weymouth, gonna jack it seems

NeonPeon
I have sympathy for anyone missing out... until I read some of your signatures. Heaviest stuff is to the NE of us now, and the stuff to the south is disintegrating a bit. Can see outside with the snow letting up a bit. Easton area ish getting dumped. This winter may not be favoring your area, but over time the majority of them do! I'm sure it won't be long before us "southerners" are whining over a snow hole or a boundary layer and you'll be snowing like a champ.

Everyone in SNE has had a good time this winter, but parts of RI haven't done so brilliantly, especially right on the coast, perhaps as you'd expect. I feel like I've done well because while Eastern Mass has been getting bombed, I've been getting hit with shrapnel. A couple storms have had P-type slop/rain issues, and in other ones we've had bands everyone around but here. Providence has done really well this winter, they've had nearly double the snow we have in most events. Let us have this little one
NeonPeon
3.5 inches. Snowball snow, much heavier than I suspected. Haven't heard a plow and no salting. Either they figure they'll hit this thing in the morning, or this crept up on them a bit.
HarveyLeonardFan
3.5 inches. Snowball snow, much heavier than I suspected. There's a buoy that I think is somewhere in the Bay along the Navy Base that says it's 31. That's the temperature reading I consider to be the official temp for Newport. The Newport ASOS...which always seems to be too cold... is located in the upper part of Middletown on Forest Avenue between East and West Main Road and it was
HarveyLeonardFan
I don't think we have any weenies there but it looks like Somerset, MA right over the Braga Bridge just north of Fall River is gonna be the jackpot for this event.

NeonPeon
One last little thump before this thing leaves. Band filling in again for us, and snow getting heavier again. This would have been even more of a headache for forecasters if it didn't so perfectly avoid the commutes. Going to bed now, please make whatever ritual sacrifices necessary to pull some of these other offshore storms in. This was fun.
