snowlover91
Around an inch here. About 30 minutes left to go. Probably a few more hours as radar is backfilling due to coastal developing.

mercurydime
Just a shade under 3 inches here. Very light snow started ~12:30am. Still snowing very lightly...a nice surprise upon waking this morning!
burgertime
Dusting here in CLT. Currently not snowing but looks like some returns could be coming over head soon.
pack8398
Was in a snowless hole earlier this morning but rates have picked up in southern Granville county over last 15 minutes. About a 1/2 inch so far, 23 degrees. Looks like radar is filling in to the west back towards Burlington/Greensboro so maybe we can get to an inch.. Would love to know what ratios are, has to be pretty high.

WidreMann
It just keeps snowing and radar is filling in, surprisingly. I think we have maybe an inch, but I don't feel like measuring.
DopplerWx
Radar looks to be backfilling? is still coming down here, an inch already on the ground. just saw a car slide into a telephone pole outside. roads are a mess. latest rgem does show the radar backfilling thru 21z. OpAck
We're at about 28 degrees with mix precip in Wilmington. It went from sleet to light snow and now we're getting some ice. Bridges are a mess as well as MLK Blvd had a few accidents, but the roads are generally better than I thought they'd be. Still not great though. It helps that everyone (except for my company...yeeuck) pretty much closed down for the day so there aren't too many drivers out there on the road. HKY_WX
getting a burst of moderate snow w/ large dendrites. Looks like some definite coastal enhancement. The euro/nam were showing close to .2 at rdu airport today. 2 inches may not be far off. probably a little over 1 inch here.

TAP
Did any one in NE GA end up in some of the higher totals being shown by models? I saw one report of 3.25" in Rabun County, GA.

Tony Sisk
I must say, this was a VERY pleasant surprise in the Upstate considering this was supposed to be a dusting to an inch appetizer. Got a good two inches at my house in Taylors. People often talk about the I-85 corridor. Honestly, it's just a good visual for a line to draw in the map. But it often times can be a good gauge for weather. I live about 3 miles North of I-85. It was throwing down huge flakes of moderate snow when I left the house for work. The roads covered quickly. When I got to Butler Rd, about 2 miles South of I-85...roads were fine and only had a dusting.
DopplerWx
snow started to taper off then radar backfilled and now it is pouring again. those 2" totals i was crapping on last night dont look too farfetched now.
Shack
Did any one in NE GA end up in some of the higher totals being shown by models? Highlands is only about 10 miles north of the Georgia line and we now have 5 inches and it's still snowing lightly. Elevation is 4k ft here, though. JQPublic
Think roads will improve any today? I may be stuck at work. Wow Fayetteville is getting clobbered with a nice juicy band. Perhaps some bright-banding on the radar?
Extreme NEGA
Did any one in NE GA end up in some of the higher totals being shown by models? Well I had been measuring on my deck and had 1 and 3/4 but I just measured 2.5 in a flat place in my yard. I was only suppose to get up to 1.5 according to GSP so it over performed here in Toccoa. Perhaps some bright-banding on the radar? The sun should make good progress on the roads when it stops snowing. Not a ton of moisture in this stuff.
