canderson
Steady Light Snow here everything covered and radar looks good thus far.Yeah looks like maybe 1/2" already. Haven't been put to actually measure.
Voyager
It looks like precip hole has filled in south of I-80 in PA for now. Breaking up again, but south of here in eastern Maryland, Delaware, and South Jersey look once again seem to have the heaviest returns. Even though we've been "shafted" quite a bit over the past few years by coastals and Miller B's, I don't seem to remember events such as this coming from the west drying out over Central PA as much as this year. easternsnowman
North of Scranton looks good for at least 4 inches, maybe 6 or more in some areas,
Santa Clause
I think Tuesday will be higher impact in these parts.

Scummyratguy
Great day for real estate! Varying rates of light-mod on drive from York to Hanover. Also a pocket of sleet but that wasn't too long. Car says
Eskimo Joe
All we have to do is get to 2:30 - 3:00 pm and then we will see a pretty dramatic decrease in the sun on the roads.

Itstrainingtime
Moderate snow now. Midday in March though...almost all snow has melted on the road out front and it's melting off the cars as well. Eyeballing between an inch or two of new snow in the grass where it had completely melted previously.
MAG5035
1.4" so far and moderate snow currently.
Santa Clause
Light light snow, less than an inch. Melting on roads now.
NortheastPAWx
If we had an inch of snow for every CTP map change, we'd be looking at a SECS. They just changed it once more.
pawatch
We're fringing it right now. Currently 20 degrees Nickel & diming and adding onto our season total. Not sure why CPT has been changing their maps so....is it the janitor walking by the monitor saying...you know what? I'm gonna change the map again. :-)
Rick G
we are under an inch but it is lightly snowing. temp is about 25 and rock salt has kicked in. roads are clear and wet where they where treated.
Cashtown_Coop
Changed for the better this way. Grids now carry 3-5" of snow followed by .10" freezing rain. Closing in on 3" now.
Voyager
Nice returns in southwestern PA and WV. How much you guys wanna bet it dries up and falls apart before it gets here?
Eskimo Joe
Great rates right now. 25/21 with solid moderate snow. Just another hour or so until and then we are on the down hill as far as that nuclear sun angle is considered.
Scummyratguy
In hanover (pa) full mixed bag now. Snow & sleet and I believe occasional frz raindrops in there too.
Voyager
Seriously. Was this supposed to be a Mason-Dixon line southern tier event? It seems like it's where it's heading at this point...
Voyager
Nevermind. Looking at past model qpf, there were runs that seemed to favor that area, and many of the GFS runs did have the damned dry slot in Central PA.
I-83 BLIZZARD
Almost all sleet here now. 1/4 of snow and sleet on the ground.

Eskimo Joe
Some impressive upward vertical motion (UVVs) along the I-70 corridor in Maryland. This is producing that nice band of enhanced precipitation, but what goes up must come down and that is the case in central PA.
paweather
Heaviest rates of the day so far. March sun is really keeping accums down right now.
Blizzard of 93
Best rate and best flake size so far. Roads and all surfaces covered. It looks like best large batch of precip with good rates moving in to the LSV now.
Itstrainingtime
Closing in on 2.5" now. Definite win for me this time. Just came in from a measurment and some shoveling. 24 degrees, moderate snow, and water raining down the spouts. Roads are wet. March!
