franklin NCwx
Yea we're starting to get in the range where each run it says closed for longer.yes and it seems to happen with every storm.
superjames1992
The SREFs have had a north bias beyond 48 all winter on most storms I have followed...just sayin...before people in VA or MD get too happy Indeed, and I'm not sure how useful they are at thus range, anyways. Just a decent tick north from the last run, so I thought I'd post it.
sparklecity
The 15Z SREF is much wetter. Can't wait for the plumes. 1" to RDU. 0.5" all the way to the NC/TN border. Oh man, there are going to be some juicy plumes for that one. KSPA mean was over 4" the last run. I wouldn't be surprised to see it push 5" this time. There is prob gonna be some more big dogs in that too.
BullCityWx
Euro looked good for us burger. Column cools down with precip and sfc goes from upper 30's to 33 at saturation. Let's see where we go from here Just short of an inch in QPF
dsaur
Can't wait for the Gulf convection cliff to appear. Snowstorms in the SE are like playing the old video game Moon Patrol. You're Sunday strolling nicely along up the hill and then the NW trend crater appears. And then the warm nose land mine shows up. And then the Gulf convection boulder starts rolling toward you, etc.... Don't want to see you raising false expectations, CR Do you see any possibilities something could go wrong? You are doing something with those shields, aren't you?

Tony Sisk
I was told they were not impressed at all south of the far NRN areas of GA as of early this AM but they may have changed their minds since. for the record, I appreciate your input! Says a lot for a New York Met to come give us thoughts. (I know it's mainly for your friends) But we appreciate it! You one of us!

lilj4425
All the more reason not to trust the SREF. GSP NWS tends to use the SREF a good bit from what I have seen so it must be pretty reliable.
