40/70 Benchmark
Warmer and drier than Euro / Rgem... Nam win? Maybe I'm remembering wrong, too disinterested to look back. Of course, the one time the EURO is underamped
Baroclinic Zone
If that is true, this event is going to blow the big one. Not even 2" yet, and sleet on the door step?

Semper911
Still flakes but I think I am seeing the last of them for the evening- the line on CC is really close now. I guess there's no chance it slips below me and heads east. That line just has too much north going on. 31.2 We'll see what the morning brings. Zeus
Just flipped We will sing songs of your bravery. And our children will sing those songs. And our children's children. After that, it's unlikely they'll keep tradition. I mean, look at how quickly popular music changes these days. Heroic ballads? We're probably kinda pushing it at children's children. But you don't need to be told that now. No, not now. You were so strong.

Clinch Leatherwood
South winds. Gonna need a lot of lift to compensate and it's not there at the pike. Thought it would be more organized then this. Precip only seems to have organized just before and behind the changeover.
bristolri_wx
Rain/Freezing rain since 9:30. 2" snow, 32.5 degrees. Just finished shoveling before it turned to heavy slush, lol...
powderfreak
I've got over 6" now. Ripping over 1" per hour even down here. When we get good orographic snows, and the composite radar has pockets of over 30dbz, that's my barometer for a good event, especially when the snow from the echoes is drifting from SW to NE at 35kts. Those radar levels can indicate 2-3" per hour in the high elevations, like the ski areas. Time for bed.
