Saturn510
The only issue i have with the EURO is it is like putting a carrot in front of us and we never get closer.
Bobby
Whoa -- that can't be good. How far Eastern Li? I live in smithtown.... if we get TOO close to that, or we're on the east side of it, we'll have rain and not snow. Absolutely. Happens so often for us. I would prefer it another 75 miles SSE of Montauk.

IsentropicLift
sounds like low snow ratios in NJ...NYC area but who cares right??? lol what an amazing storm if it were to verify. The implications of well over a foot of heavy wet snow combined with tropical storm force winds would be catasrophic.

I live in smithtown.... if we get TOO close to that, or we're on the east side of it, we'll have rain and not snow. as depicted i think this is a perfect run for us (im in commack). but we dont have much wiggle room west. still, i think the final solution ends up east of this offering, blending with the others. i really like where we are at this time. north shore also helps. Yeah it's hard for me to get excited when it keeps pushing back the timing. Even on Tuesday now, we're still no closer to the storm. It just gives me a bad feeling that something will go wrong. ace0927
Nope http://meteocentre.c...PN_144_0000.gif 967MB lows dont track that far east....i would assume the reason it got that deep was because of the interaction with the upper air features which would pull it N or NNW
