The back building has been consistent over the past hour around that area.  HRRR has also been pretty consistent with getting a healthy round of snow up into our area around 5-6 AM. Should be interesting if it verifies.

radar is stuck near the pa/nj line and moving nw to ne  and no move east

just getting hammered in highland lakes

Just took off from JFK. Was supposed to be in the air around 12:30 but was delayed due to ice. Eventually the de-icing truck made its way to our plane and now all is well. You could tell the ground crew was having a tough time tonight. Take care everyone.

Snowing pretty moderately in Port Jeff...maybe we can get to that 6 inches yet...nah, that's pushing it.

Snow has let up considerably here. It is sad; how nice things end so quickly, but awful things seem to go on forever...

Last of the snow showers here in the Bronx. Final accumulations of 5.5 inches. Great storm. It never flipped to rain it was heavy snow all day yesterday to freezing rain and than it switched back to snow around 4:45am got an additional inch there. It's really treacherous outside with all the ice build up but good thing we got an inch inch of snow on top of the ice. One of the best storms of the year.
