Ian
2.5 here, about .5 last hour despite some periods of bigger flakes/better rates. Have had trouble holding that form long. Quality event tho.. deep winter with snow on snow.

MN Transplant
18z NAM says we are living dangerously at 00z.... but has a heavy band rolling through at the same time... should be snow if rates are heavy even though 900mb is +0.9 Surface temps below freezing to midnight maybe? IWM isn't updating yet so going off of crappy NCEP maps.

I may have more than 4", wind is wreaking havoc to my snow board spot. Had 6" in places in the yard when I took the kiddo out, but the yard still had snow on the ground. Will measure driveway later where wind may not be causing issues

Had 6" in places in the yard when I took the kiddo out, but the yard still had snow on the ground. Will measure driveway later where wind may not be causing issues Not bad. You should get to 6" easily by the end of the storm. I know you've missed out on the best banding thus far, so I hope you get one that rolls through at some point. Very beautiful winter day. Hopefully the kiddo is having fun in the powder
