mattie g
I'm starting to feel like it's impossible to get a full region wide "crush" job. It's really tough to do around here. I got more than most in the last storm (5"), so I shouldn't complain, but snow is really "what have you done for me lately?"-ish.

Kay
Pretty, it's improved but our flakeage still is nowhere near as good as in that picture. Thanks, and good luck. That pic was the most flattering to the flakeage of all the ones I took. They've been on the smaller side but lots of them, gods be praised I've been banded. Here's another. MillvilleWx
Easy 1" an hour rates under the yellows. No doubt. Another band of heavy echoes just moved back in and more developing to my west. Northern side of 695 has been getting destroyed. How much do you have down there? I know that area was getting hammered earlier.

clskinsfan
3:00 Moderate snow. 21 degrees. 7.2 total. .8 last hour. After a lull during the 1:00 hour. The 2:00 hour featured light to moderate snow the entire time. With the radar to the southwest. I dont see how I get under 10 inches from this storm. Wonderful winter day out. NOVAForecaster
I just measured 7" at 2:45 in western Fairfax County. The snow is still moderate-to-heavy. That's about a 6" range just in the county! Just measured around 5" in Oakton near 50/

arlwx
All the deathbands have dissipated and died as they ditched DC. But this deathband will not be dilapidated and descend upon the district in a daring manner! They all will fail in the face of the Flamethrower Defending DCA! Seriously, I don't know why the snowfall gradient is existing, but if Jebman can't dig out my driveway, I'll root for the snow to fall on those who can appreciate it.
