usedtobe
Sleet report out in front royal. Looks like it happened when the rates let up for a bit. That's a bummer since I still haven't had any rates yet and am barely snowing. I need the band soon.

heavensbee
Temps have been firmly planted 20-22 since the snow began. Seems like as long as we maintain rates, we'll keep the snow. A few obs from earlier in SW VA switched from snow to sleet to snow as rates were changing.
midatlanticweather
2:00 PM. Light snow 6.4 inches. .6 inches in the last hour. Had a bit of lull for about 15 minutes. Light snow has started again. I am in that lull now.. but mine has been 20 minutes..

usedtobe
Not. A. Single. Flake. What a disaster. 33 and the clouds are getting lighter. If it wasn't for the President's Day storm and the fact that I have several inches snowcover, I might be angry. Nobody cares much about us southeastern guys, it's all about what is in my back yard and for you and me, not a lick unless the band presses east enough to give us a quick inch or two. That's our only hope.
StormPinsMike
Little bit of a lull here in Leesburg, really small flakes now after pretty continuous moderate snow since 9am.

Bob Chill
That's a bummer since I still haven't had any rates yet and am barely snowing. I need the band soon. Could be unreliable though. Orientation of the precip is changing. I think once dc and you get into it that it should last for a while. More broad and n-s oriented.
