I'm still not getting anything so I'm not sure which model was the winner as the GFS and Euro had me getting hit hard this 3 hours and te NAM didn't but they hitting DC looks like it was the right thing to do and that's what the GFS and Euro did.  It's all about where the band sets up.  As usual you northern guys won.

Pro tip: move NW. ;)

Richmond has reclaimed its rightful title of the screwzone with this one. If you've watched radar today the area has been almost laughably avoided by precipitation, and now, even as it tries to move in, dry slots keep forming right around the metro area. All of this of course has allowed RIC's temp to rise with no precip, assuring rain by the time the column moistens up around here. Seen these before, so we aren't new to the situation.

I seriously just measured an about 7/8 of an inch in a half hour.  3 inches total since 11:00 AM.  Baltimore County - Catonsville, MD.  This is amazing.  The radar suggests that  I will see at least another three hours of this.

There are folks not too far to DC's south and southeast who are getting majorly screwed so far...Nobody in DC/Arlington should be boo-hooing.....We've been fortunate not to be 10 miles to the south and east...

Been missing out on some of the super good stuff but still sitting at 1.5"
