Bob Chill
Yellows are better than reds. Reds we're widely spaced parachutes. Yellows are dumpage. Mod to almost heavy after the parachutes moved out.
clueless
Got some crazy measurements around the property. Usual measuring spot that was snow free is at 6.5. Other areas around 7. South side of house per usual took much longer for stickage today. Measuring 4.5 to 5. Anyway final broke the 3 inch winter rut.
das
Das do you have your latest measurement.. Over here is closing on 4" I just can't believe it how fast it is piling up over here! The rates are keep getting higher out here! Just got home. Unbelievable. At 1:20pm I measured 5.4" in three places. 5.4" in 4.4 hours. Another hour of super rates on tap as well. dukeblue219
1.5" in Silver Spring. It's been a very pretty day to watch the snow fall. Substantially heavier snowfall than we saw on Monday, with little wind so it doesn't feel all that cold either.
Bob Chill
I don't see much of a lull on tap west of 95.

mappy
That stuff coming into FDK means business. Hopefully get close to 6" by 3pm. Radar is super misleading my way, showing light rates but it's definitely not light snow at all

gymengineer
Yellows are better than reds. Reds we're widely spaced parachutes. Yellows are dumpage. Mod to almost heavy after the parachutes moved out. Exactly the same here too. It's the lowest visibility all day (under 1/4 mile) once the huge flakes moved by. usedtobe
Oh man, heaviest rates of the day. White fog out there. This band is killer...and training... I'm still not getting anything so I'm not sure which model was the winner as the GFS and Euro had me getting hit hard this 3 hours and te NAM didn't but they hitting DC looks like it was the right thing to do and that's what the GFS and Euro did. It's all about where the band sets up. As usual you northern guys won.
