kurtstack
Just got back. Way more cars on the road than there should be. I don't think the word got well enough about how heavy and significant this storm could be. Two wheel drive vehicles are getting stuck on the smallest of hills, and many roads are becoming blocked. This could be commutegeddon like with cars stuck everywhere.
Buddy1987
Big props to GFS and RGEM for sticking to their guns on this. This is incredible easy 20-30 minutes of asteroids falling from the sky.

nw baltimore wx
Fresh Double Duckpin run? Or Snowpants might be more appropriate. You read my mind! I'm taking two growlers. Have a couple of cask ales while I'm there. Hit the food truck. It's a perfect Saturday! Moderate snow, 21.

EastCoast NPZ
9 AM: 1/2" 10AM: 1.375" 11AM: 2.5" 12 PM: 5.0" 2.5" in the last hour. I was out w/ the little one and that was impressive. Next to 1983, that was as hard as I've ever seen it snow. 1/8 mile vis. and at times the flakes were the size of 1/2 dollars. At one point I measured .75" in a 10-minute span. Has let up some now, but that was one of the most remarkable 1 hour period i've ever seen..
nw baltimore wx
Shameless plug for the site: make a donation, the donation drive is underway. Allowable attachment size increases. For the amount of time a lot of us spend on the site, it's the appropriate thing to do. The admins are not making $$ here, it's to sustain operations. Nothing shameless about it. Definitely should throw a few bucks out there.

BlizzardNole
Mod/hvy snow; 18 degrees; about 2" so far. This winter gave us a rainstorm (3 or 4 Saturdays ago?) with a perfect Miller-A track, and now a good snowstorm with a lakes cutter.
