Ended up with slightly more than an inch and changed to sleet pretty much right when the models were advertising a tad after 5PM. The orientation of the band screwed all us southeastern folks. Happy for the northern crew and those out west. I much preferred the last snow in mby.

time to wax that fishing boat

got up to 3.55 inches before the sleet began... hoping it will change back to snow again, as other locations are doing.

Either way, gonna be below freezing for a bit longer at the surface... still just 26

I'm going to measure again in a minute...I think we are around the same....

Apparently roads are a horror show around Baltimore

Things appear to be just as bad in the DC area.  The camera at 495 and Seven Locks shows some major shenanigans happening there, with several vehicles stalled in the middle lanes of the outer loop.

It doesn't concern me at all...I hope the temp stays below freezing and the storm is as crippling and disruptive as possible.

Lol..

IMO this was one of the best since 09-10.. Cold, snow during the daylight hours, transition to sleet at dusk, huge flakes, lots of accidents

I think I've been under-reporting snow all day.  I went out at 4:00 and measured about 5.3" on my deck.  Then I went around to the front of the house to shovel and measured a little over 6" in several spots.  I think the storm coming up from the south might have put my deck in the shadow of the house.

Now it's about 6.8" in front with moderate to heavy snow.
