LithiaWx
We got up to 22, exactly 3 degrees less than forecast (as usual!). Already dropped back to 21, forecast low tonight is 11 so we'll see how that turns out. Topped out at 26. Starting the plummet now....
Tullioz
The temperature peaked at 19.6, so I guess that counts as 20 degrees for my high temperature. Already down to 16.8, so I think we have a good shot at going down to zero or slightly below by morning if the winds die down.

Marion_NC_WX
Did modeling back off the deep sub zero readings for wide swaths of NC? It did a couple days ago after the Monday storm passed. The new GFS has a big time bias on suspected snowpack...

Over--- but really hard to call with the High moving directly overhead tonight. We were over +6 last night and +7 during the day today at KJNX. I'll go with 4 for RDU, 7 for KJNX. LithiaWx
It did a couple days ago after the Monday storm passed. The new GFS has a big time bias on suspected snowpack... It's still going to be wicked cold. When an arctic front/clipper brings snow to my area it's highly anomalous. It happens just not very often. This air mass is something you see once every 10-20 years imo. February is quickly becoming Fab and memorable in terms of cold.

sparklecity
18.0°/0°. Let's see if we can make a run at our lowest temp of the winter, 7.7°. Koi pond is frozen over except where the waterfall is. Last winter was the first time it happened, and now it's happened two times in a row. There should be some cool looking ice formations on it tomorrow morning.

calculus1
Noticed HKY is already at 11 Yep. Currently 10.6 F IMBY at 8 PM. The house is making weird creaking noises too. It's freaking out the kids. The high IMBY was 22.5 F, but I think that was slightly sun-induced.

Stormsfury
KCHS only reached 36 today, shattered the previous low maximum by 6 degrees!! 7 pm temp was 30 with a DP of -3!. 24 this morning. Funny tidbit: this time last year, KCHS was 83 (daily record high) with low of 56. Basically both extremes in just one year. 46 degrees colder for a high and 32 degrees colder for the low from last year's readings. It Could go below 24before midnight.
