goodness, what kind of elevation are you at ? Amazing that you were close to 10 degrees colder than Atlanta on a windy night. Usually with the wind, temps are more uniform.

 

Hmm close to 1000 ft I think.

 

We are virtually always cooler than ATL, though.  The official ATL temps are way south of here.  And anytime I see a forecast for "Canton" I pretty much automatically subtract 2-3 degrees for what it will really be here in the northeast area of the county.

 

We are up to 17 now.

I hit 22 F as a high so far today here north of Atlanta. It is now 22.1. Waycross hit 41, which is a couple of degrees warmer than I had expected as of 2 PM.

42 now. You forgot to factor in the fact that it's Way cross which is the warmest place in the state typically. Everyone is acting like its 0 degrees here lol. Its feels worse here than last year's 33 for a high because of the wind. NWS was actually correct with the high. I know damn well we won't hit 21 tonight though lol!
