Lucky though, it froze at the little pump house in the yard and I caught it before anything major happened. 20 minutes with a hairdryer blowing into it and everything was back to normal. I've already rigged a drop light for tonight.This is the second time this winter. It thawed on its on by 1230 after sun hit the well casing. I rigged up a spigot to water the garden since they sit side by side. It's about 60 yds from my well to the house. Tonight I wrapped the Dickens out of it and using the drip technique. Teenager went for water overnight and shut it completely off. Ugh. 29 for high and 2 for a low. Going down like a rock tonight, already 17 with clear skies.
