mitchnick
that 5H map on the upper left of the RGEM spread sure looks like the storm will cut west looking at that radar map, it does, but still snow....hmmm, never have I seen that much snow for us with a storm that far west

Subtropics
My thoughts: Cold air damming is always underplayed on the models. If NAM/RGEM track play out we have a legit 6'' + on our hands with ice issues to follow. My weenie senses are starting to tingle
Sparky
There were a string of 3 storms that did something like this in Jan. 78 but I don't think they tracked that far west, more like right on top of MD on their way up the coast. We got front thump snows of 3-5 inches (Baltimore) changing to some sleet and zr on top.

clskinsfan
Nice thump on the RGEM. Wow. That is 8 hours after the snow has started here. Pretty thorough drubbing by both the Nam and Rgem Correction. The Rgem is 12 hours of snow here. Its a beatdown really.

cae
I went to the site and it says 0Z 2/20 isn't available yet I think that was an earlier run It's from this run. The first 48 hours on that site come out as the RGEM comes out. It's usually pretty fast. Hours 49-120 are the GGEM, so they're not available yet. psuhoffman
this is what PSUhoffman wants. 6 inches of cement is better than 12 inches of dust for him way to take what I said and exaggerate. I would take 4" cement over 6" dust. 6 vs 12 is a stretch.
