Iceagewhereartthou
I don't think it's gonna survive its trip across the upstate. Already can tell the leading edge of precip is starting to get eaten up. Yeah, the field has really diminished over the past half hour or so. It simply refuses to enter into the Easley area, that's for sure Well, maybe I can finally see the first token flake at least
NCSNOW
Beautiful crescent moon with Mars and Venus super close by. Nary a cloud in the triad. Enjoy your flakage down south!!We noticed it on way home tonight. Beatifull. Down to 16, radiational cooling is in over drive, and it's snowing up and down the savanna river on radar. Tullioz
The HRRR seems to be improving each run for the Northern foothills of NC for tomorrow morning. Here is the latest run compared to just two hours ago. It may not be much, but its something.

mackerel_sky
There's a thin stripe of what almost looks like a squall line, imbedded in the main line, kind of oriented NW to SE, anybody else see that? Interesting feature
Iceagewhereartthou
Dacusville is currently being dry slotted. Lol Yeah, big time! I'm a few miles to your South. The precip got just a couple miles from our area and in the last couple frames just backslotted halfway to Clemson. Been doing that for the last couple hours on the front edge, but went crazy the last few minutes.

Interesting feature I see that too but it's incredibly thin. Looks like the best returns are down between Anderson and Belton right now.

sparklecity
I see snow on the Clemson webcams. I don't think it's gonna make it to mby though. Really falling apart now.
Lookout
Congrats Lookout, Glad you at least seeing a little snow! Thanks...not much but yeah us beggers will take what we can get lol. Amazing what a dusting of snow does for a man down south. Still steady and purty! Yep...It's almost embarrassing isn't it? What was nice about it though is every flake stuck. I love it when it's already below freezing, the ground is cold, and no flakes are waisted. Just wish there was a lot more of it. Have fingers crossed we can get something memorable over the next 10 days or so before time runs out this year. This is the fourth time i've seen snow this year....although add it all up and it hasn't amounted to anything.

Yeah, seems like it ran into that pesky World famous Liberty Wall on it's way East. Nothing gets through that thing!
MotoWeatherman
Was actually able to measure 1\4" of snow in Dahlonega while my temp dropped to 23 during the event. It was amazing with pretty much calm winds.

Iceagewhereartthou
Guys I don't think this is even going to make it to Gville at all. My flurries are just about gone and per the radar it has dryslotted almost back to Clemson again. This little line is just about to fizzle out completely. Maybe we'll see something better next week. Good luck everyone! Over and out.

superjames1992
Big Frosty could still eek out a couple inches with this. There was definitely a shift S/E on the GFS and GGEM, as well as the RGEM.

Tullioz
Big Frosty could still eek out a couple inches with this. There was definitely a shift S/E on the GFS and GGEM, as well as the RGEM. Things have been trending well for areas along the NC/VA border especially the foothills of NC. I live right on the border just north of Eden and an inch or so is even starting to look possible here. I had given up earlier today. Big Frosty no doubt looks good for a couple of inches. It's a bit depressing looking at the thermometer with a current temperature of 11.6 with a dew point of 1.1 and knowing it will be raining in less than 18 hours. superjames1992
Yeah, the UKMET is south, too. You guys could definitely get a couple inches with some fortune. Looks like I might even have a shot at a flizzard (unlikely), which would be a miracle!
Artie Fufkin
LOL. That one area of sleet that has been trucking down I-20 for six hours is just gonna shear right out as it hits west side ATL. So predictable...
